As the end of the year fast approaches, the MMTL team is reflecting on an incredible first year in operation since our relaunch in January.

As 2025 comes to a close, we're celebrating:

The warm welcome we have received from the industry upon our relaunch
The growing MMTL community of advocates and supporters of artist-driven, new musical theatre works
The opportunity to reconnect with past MMTL writers and share their stories with our community
The opportunity to have found incredible creators and collaborators in Sam Norman and Eliza Randall, writers of The Debutantes
The successful, expectation-shattering Phase 1 reading and workshop of The Debutantes, made possible by a group of talented and insightful cast, creatives and production team.

MMTL aspires to become the preeminent grassroots organization focused primarily on the early stage development of artist-driven musical theatre works. We depend on the support of advocates like you to help make this happen. Any support you can provide will contribute to the ongoing growth of musical theatre and the sustainability of MMTL.
