In 2021 Mount Michael’s Alumni Board created a three-year strategic plan to help provide a guide for the board to best serve Mount Michael’s Alumni Association. One item that came from the plan was establishing a formal membership for the Alumni Association. Through this process the board hopes to achieve the following items:

-Improve alumni engagement by providing better opportunities for alumni to network

-See how your MM investment grows after graduation

-Create an additional revenue source to fund alumni scholarships and events

-Provide benefits to alumni and their families(discounts, gear, etc.)

Mount Michael Alumni Association Membership Benefits

Extracurricular Activities and Athletic Events

All Alumni Association members receive free entry to all Mount Michael home extracurricular and athletic activities (district and conferences competitions are excluded). Please present your membership card when entering events.

Knights Legacy Roundtable

Share your Knight pride with your children through the Knights Legacy Roundtable. Once enrolled, they will receive a Mount Michael themed gift and a special birthday greeting every year through age 14. They will also receive special notifications and discounts on camps and activities.

Networking

Stay up to date with other alumni and Mount Michael’s successes and re-connect with former classmates and fellow Knights through communications from the Alumni Board and Alumni Office. Networking events include career night, alumni breakfasts, and various other events throughout the year.

Recognition

New members will be listed in the Alumni Association’s Annual Report in the winter issue of the Michaeleen. All members receive an official membership card and welcome kit. The welcome kit includes:

-Membership card, Benedictine cross sticker, Alumni Association luggage tag, event calendar, and license plate frame.

Knight Bookstore Discount

Alumni Association members will receive a 10% discount off in person Mount Michael bookstore purchases. Please present your card at the time of purchase.

Scholarship Support

A portion of membership dues go towards growing the Br. Mel Legacy Scholarship and the Fr. Benedict Alumni Scholarship. These scholarships help make it possible for some students to receive a Mount Michael education.
