If you know me, you know how important I feel it is, to be able to give back to the community in a meaningful way.

I have been a member of Shmira for many years, but this past year I really doubled down. I saw the need to help the leadership take this organization to the next level.

Na'aseh V'nishmah. I accepted the nomination to join the board. Over the last year our board took on the enormous task of making the needed changes to the organization.

Now known as Shmira Public Safety, we incorporated as a 501c(3) Not for Profit. We updated our mission statement, training program, and policies.

Now we need your help to make much need upgrades to our radio system and to purchase equipment needed for our volunteers to remain safe and be able to serve the community.
