Led by Scott Reilly from Switch Modern, this tour will explore the stories behind iconic pieces of furniture by designers like Eileen Gray, Ron Arad, Philippe Starck, Moooi, Verner Panton, Paola Lenti, and others, whose work has impacted the development of chairs over the past century. Please Be Seated also includes Shirley Chisholm's iconic statement, "If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair," with an interactive activity that asks visitors to think about chairs as symbols of space, identity, and empowerment. Other exhibition collaborators include Dolce & Gabbana Casa, Cartessa Design, City Issue, and Westside Modern.
