BandFest 2025 is back and we are excited to bring you more autonomous music from existing and upcoming Bangla bands of the Bay Area. Please earmark September 6th , 2025 (Saturday) between 3:00pm and 10:00pm and be a part of this muical bonanza.

Bandfest 2025 will continue to operate on the same principles with which it was started, viz,

Will continue to be a FREE event for all to enjoy the local bands.
Will continue to foster creativity and create a fraternity for musicians to collaborate
Will continue to provide an outdoor college fest like ambience with vendor stalls , food and quality music.

About MOHONA

Born amidst the joyous celebrations of Durga Puja in 2023 and solidified in early 2024,
"Mohona" is a band that brings together passionate musicians, adults and kids, on the brink of
an endless sea of musical opportunities. The name "Mohona," which is a Bengali word meaning
Estuary, reflects the idea of knitting multiple genres of music into a contemporary framework,
also in multiple languages, much like multiple streams meeting the sea at the estuary.
With a focus on delivering high-quality musical and vocal renditions, Mohona delves into
Classical Rock, Rock Fusions, Soft Rock, Alternate Rock, Folk Rock, and contemporary
melodies. Through their music, Mohona has been able to create impactful performances that
resonate with listeners.
Beyond their musical pursuits, the band members are tech professionals who share a deep love
for music. Their lively energy infuses every performance, promising an enjoyable experience for
audiences of all backgrounds.
