The Abilities First mission is simple, we seek to turn abilites into opportunities. That means advocating for true inclusion in our region. While inclusion may sound like a simple goal, for those with the lived experience of a disability it is anything but simple. The good news is that Springfield and our surrounding communities are uniquely set up to be, not only a local, but a national leader in what true inclusion looks like for everyone!

When we look past someone's disability, we can find so much more than just a neighbor or a friendly face. We can find an incredible coworker, a passionate friend, or a great leader.
