Get ready to Light Up the Night! The Mom-Son Dance Party will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the gym. You are invited to the fourth annual Mom-Son Dance Glow Party. This year’s theme is Neon 80s! Enjoy a taco bar, music, games, dance contests, prizes, photo opportunities and more. There will be two ticket groups to alleviate the wait in lines - one at 5:30pm and one at 5:45pm. Dinner will be served until 6:30pm.

The dress for the event is fun, festive and casual. Bright clothing and neon colors are encouraged, as they’ll be black lights and interactive colored lights throughout the event. Moms, think 80s prom wear. Dressing up is always an option. The prize committee will be looking out for the Best Dressed and Most Entertaining Families. There will be a variety of contests - Fortnite dances, limbo, free style, and Mom-Son duos - with prizes to Beach Bowl, Milano’s, Jeremiah’s, Rita’s Italian Ice, and more.

Who is invited? All St. Paul's Moms and Sons in PRE4 through 8th grades are invited. A grandmother, aunt, or other maternal figure is welcome if Mom is unable to attend.

What activities are planned? After checking in, attendees are encouraged to grab their meals. Feel free to step into the new 360 photo station, photo booth or get the party started on the dance floor! Contests and Mom-Son dance challenges begin at 6p.m. for great prizes.

What should I wear? The dress for the event is fun, festive and dressy casual. Bright clothing and neon colors are encouraged, as there will be black lights and interactive colored lights surrounding the dance floor. Students must wear closed-toe shoes for safety reasons. Remember, the prize committee will be looking for the Best Dressed and Most Entertaining families. Dressing up is always an option.

When and where is it? The event will be held on Friday, February 28, 2024, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the St. Paul's Jax Beach Gymnasium.

Will there be food? Yes, there will be a chicken taco bar, as well as drinks and a sweet treat.

What is the cost for each Mom? The $20 ticket price per Mom includes the cost of a meal, treats, printed photos, music, entertainment and giveaways.

What is the cost for each Child? The $20 ticket price per Child includes the cost of a meal, treats, glow goodies, music, entertainment and giveaways.

Is there a reduced cost for families with multiple sons? No. Is there a reduced cost if I do not wish to have a meal? No. Unfortunately, there is only one $20 ticket price for each attendee, and a ticket is required to attend the event.

May I send in cash? No, all tickets must be purchased via Givebutter.

When will tickets be sold? Tickets will be sold from 9am on February 18 until 3pm on Monday, February 24, 2025. The ticketing system will stop accepting ticket orders on Monday, February 24, 2025 (or earlier if tickets sell out), to allow time for processing event monies, securing supplies, and ordering meals.

Are refunds available? No. Due to the prepaid costs to secure vendors, supplies, prizes, meals and giveaways, we are unable to offer refunds. If you are unable to use your tickets and would like to give them away, please email momsonnightout@gmail.com. If you have made arrangements with a specific family, please include the mom's full name, child/ren's names/s, email and mom's cell phone. We will update the attendee list accordingly.

How does the waitlist work? Once tickets are no longer for sale, you may join the waitlist by emailing your full name, your cell phone number, and total number of tickets needed to momsonnightout@gmail.com. If tickets become available, each party will have 24 hours to accept the tickets before the tickets are offered to the next person on the waitlist.
