It is time for Scarborough Travel Basketballs’ one and only fundraiser. Our league fee covers the basics such as insurance, league registrations, uniforms and equipment and some gym rental time, but our fundraiser is what we use for gym rentals to hold our practices. Gym rentals are very expensive and difficult to come by, so our fundraising efforts are a significant part of our program.

STB's goal is to develop skilled and competent players prepared to compete at the Scarborough Middle School and Scarborough High School levels.

With guidance from Scarborough High School (SHS) girls and boys varsity coaches, STB strives to enhance basketball skill development and knowledge, as well as the overall love for the game, within the Scarborough youth basketball community. STB is a feeder program for the SHS varsity basketball program. We support SHS
basketball, as well as the Scarborough basketball community, to the greatest extent possible.

Our program's primary focus is to provide an opportunity for players to play in a mentally and physically challenging basketball environment during the winter season. In addition, STB also develops and offers offseason programming for players of all abilities, and engages in various activities in support of the Scarborough basketball community.

We instill a winning attitude with our young athletes, but winning at the youth level is not the determinant factor of our program’s success. In teaching players to respect the game, officials, coaches, teammates, and opponents, STB strives to foster well-rounded and positive growth as a basketball player young adult.
