MUSIC WITH PURPOSE
Bringing Joy Through Live Music
Our Mission
Music With Purpose exists to bring joy, life, and human connection back to a loved — but often forgotten — community. Through live, heartfelt music experiences, we create moments of meaning, spark memories, and remind residents that they are seen, valued, and deeply connected to the world around them. Music has a unique ability to reach places words cannot. Our goal is simple: to use music as a bridge — reconnecting hearts, honoring stories, and restoring joy.
Who We Serve
Music With Purpose serves seniors living in long-term care settings, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted and independent living communities, memory care and dementia care units, and veterans living in long-term or transitional care. Our programs are especially meaningful for residents experiencing isolation, cognitive decline, or limited access to enrichment activities.
About the Program
Music With Purpose brings professional, in-person live music directly into your community. These are not background performances — they are intentional, engaging experiences designed to encourage participation, spark memories and conversation, lift spirits, and reduce feelings of loneliness. Programs are thoughtfully adapted to each audience, with special care given to memory-care residents and veterans.
Program Cost & Accessibility
The typical cost of a Music With Purpose program is $500 per visit. However, through the support of grants and donors, we are often able to subsidize performances to fit the budget of each facility. No senior should miss out on a meaningful music experience due to lack of affordability. We work collaboratively with facilities to find a solution that works.
Why Music With Purpose
Residents may forget names, dates, or faces — but music often remains. A single song can unlock a memory. A familiar lyric can invite a smile. A shared chorus can create connection. Music With Purpose brings life into rooms where silence too often lives.
