Light Up Madeira 2023: Holiday Luminaria

Join your neighbors, family and friends for Madeira’s 5th Annual Luminaria: Light Up Madeira 2023 to celebrate the start of the holiday season!

The MMS PTO is selling luminary kits to Madeira residents and businesses to light up the streets of Madeira on St. Nick's Day Eve (December 5th 2023). Let's light up the streets to illuminate the way for St. Nicholas' Sleigh Ride through the neighborhoods of Madeira! All kits will be delivered to the address provided during checkout!

NEW THIS YEAR: Custom "In Memory" Stickers

This year we are also offering supporters the option to add custom "In Loving Memory" stickers to their luminaries. Stickers are 2.75" by 2.75". These may include either an image of your loved one and their name (given or nickname) for $8 or simply their name and their year of birth and year of passing for $5. Each order contains 10 stickers. If you would like stickers to be included with your order, please select "Other" and enter the amount for total kits plus additional cost for stickers in the box. Please include information about your loved one when prompted during the checkout process. If you have chosen the picture option, please email pictures to [email protected] and be sure to note the name of the loved one within the email as well as the person who purchased the luminary kit(s).

The MMS PTO, with support from the Flanagan family, has created "In Loving Memory" stickers for Mr. Chris Flanagan and 100% of profits from the sale of these stickers will be donated to the Chris Flanagan Scholarship Fund. If you wish to only order the 10 stickers then please select that option from the menu. If you wish to add stickers to your luminary order then please select "Other", add $5 to your total donation/order amount, and enter "Chris Flanagan" into the prompt for the third question of the checkout process.

Each kit will contain materials and setup instructions for 10 luminaries. Ten luminaries is an appropriate amount for those with approximately 50 feet of street frontage. If you have a larger lot, you may purchase multiple kits. You are also welcome to purchase extra kits for use at other times, such as holiday parties or neighborhood gatherings!

The Middle School PTO is excited to sponsor the 5th Annual Luminaria as a kick-off to the winter holiday season. We hope you will join us this year! If you have any questions, please email the middle school PTO at [email protected].

All money made from the selling of the luminaries will go towards programming, activities and equipment for the students and staff at Madeira Middle School.
