Giving Tuesday

It's Giving Tuesday, which we in the nonprofit news business call

GIVING NEWSDAY!

Thanks to the NewsMatch program of the Institute for Nonprofit News, every donation from now until the end of the year is DOUBLED.

To stay on track to meet our $15,000 goal, we need $5,000 today. That sounds like a lot, but together, we can do it. 

One thing that makes it easier: Monthly commitments are matched for the whole year.

For match purposes, $5 a month means $60 in matching funds! So what we need today:

• 84 people commit to $5 a month, or
• 50 people donate $100, or
• 42 people commit to $10 a month, or
• 100 people donalte $50

Or any combination of those!

Why do we need donations?

We exist to carry your voice, and we do that for the good of the community. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We produce excellent professional community journalism, commentary, and analysis on issues, people and organizations that often go ignored in the mainstream press.

We will never charge you to access our reporting. And while we truly appreciate the generous support of many local corporate sponsors and members, we need your support to continue and to grow.
