In the town of Ngen Sy Kébémer, Senegal, a dedicated Quran learning school—led and operated daily by Hafiz Cheikh Yakhoub ibn Sidiya—is transforming the lives of children through faith and education. Children from all parts of the village come to learn, grow, and find guidance in a safe and nurturing environment.

Today, 100 children attend the school completely free of charge, relying on the generosity and dedication of Hafiz Cheikh Yakhoub ibn Sidiya. But to continue serving these young students, the school urgently needs support.

The school plays a vital role in the community by offering:

• Daily Quran memorization and recitation classes

💛 Our Goal

We are raising $25,000 to support:

1. Proper Learning Materials

Qurans, notebooks, pens, chalkboards, seating, and other essential supplies for all 100 children.

2. Food for Students

Many children come from families with limited means. Providing meals helps them learn with energy and dignity.

3. Additional Teachers

Hafiz Cheikh Yakhoub ibn Sidiya currently teaches all 100 children himself. Your support will help bring in additional qualified teachers to improve learning quality and reduce overcrowding.

4. Classroom Improvements

Creating clean, comfortable, and safe learning spaces to accommodate growing enrollment.

5. Well Water Installation

This will be a blessing for the entire community, where access to clean water is either too costly or out of reach

6. Bathroom Units

Currently 100 or more students are utilizing one bathroom throughout the day. This is not only inconvenient, but requires constant maintenance of a single facility.

7. Room & Board addition

At least the third of the children currently live with the hafiz and his family, sharing on large room. An additional room is necessary to separate the maturing boys and girls from each other, allowing them privacy and dignity.
