Our Goal: Make It So Every Student Can March in the 2026 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade!

The Make It So campaign is a heartfelt initiative dedicated to ensuring that every band member, regardless of financial circumstance, has the opportunity to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime experience — marching in the 2026 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. This iconic event brings together a select few, elite marching bands from around the world to perform before a global audience of millions, showcasing not only musical excellence but also the dedication, discipline, and teamwork that define these young performers. The Franklin Band is one of just SEVEN high school bands that have been invited to participate. 

For many students, the journey to Pasadena is more than just a performance; it's the culmination of years of hard work and a powerful affirmation of their talent and potential. However, the significant costs associated with travel, accommodations, and logistics can be a barrier — especially for students from families facing financial hardship.

Make It So exists to remove those barriers.

By raising essential funds, the campaign provides direct support to students to eliminate financial barriers that could prevent students from participating in the Rose Parade, ensuring every band member has the opportunity to travel, perform, and celebrate this milestone experience alongside their bandmates. Every dollar donated goes toward creating a fully inclusive experience — covering transportation, lodging, uniforms, meals, and other essential expenses.
