🏛️ Help Build the Malvern Museum

The Malvern Historical Society is transforming historic Poort’s Garage in downtown Malvern into the future Malvern Museum, a permanent home for preserving, sharing, and celebrating the history of Malvern and the surrounding community.

With the building purchased, work is now underway on Phase 1 of the renovation. Interior demolition has begun, and we are moving forward with the essential improvements needed to prepare the building for its next life as a museum and community space.

🛠️ What We’re Building

The Malvern Museum will provide space for:

Historical exhibits and rotating collections
Photographs, artifacts and stories from Malvern’s past
Educational programs and community events
Interactive and digital exhibits
Space for future programs and partnerships

Alongside the museum, the Malvern Historical Society continues to develop the Malvern Digital Archive, our ongoing effort to digitize, catalog and preserve Malvern’s photographs, documents and historical records for future generations.

🧱 Phase 1

Current fundraising is helping us complete the first major phase of the museum project, including:

New windows and exterior improvements
Electrical, plumbing and building infrastructure
ADA accessibility
Heating and cooling
Interior construction and preparation for exhibits
