To circumnavigate is to go all the way around something, and what better place to do this than our very own island of Manhattan with our very best friends! A circumnavigation of Manhattan is one of the ultimate challenges testing a paddler's endurance and mental fortitude through a variety of difficult conditions! Ke Aloha is growing due to the kokua (help) of so many donors.

The funds raised from last year allowed us to really take Ke Aloha Outrigger to an entirely new level. Last year, we were able to purchase a new racing canoe, Kaiholoku'i, as well as a trailer which has greatly expanded our reach allowing us new opportunities with voyaging paddles and racing to areas we could never have imagined just a few years ago. We have gotten recognition from many in the NY/NJ Hawaiian community and beyond for promoting traditional AAPI culture through paddling, hula and chant; all aspects we are excited to showcase to the local community.

Our goals for 2025 are even grander. We have just completed a successful soft launch of a revitalized OC6 race around the Statue of Liberty and it is our goal to open it up to the world once again next summer. In order to do so, we need your help.

Please help us continue on this voyage by donating! We are pleased to open our circumnavigation to ECORA members and their canoes. We feel it is a great way to further build our relationships with others and bond through this common challenge. Our flotilla will be a huge presence on the NYC waterways and will help increase the awareness of our organization, our mission and the spirit of aloha that is inherent in this sport.
