Imagine perfectly good food going to waste while thousands of families in our community struggle to put meals on the table. At Manna Market, we bridge that gap by rescuing food —keeping it out of landfills and putting it into the hands of those facing food insecurity.

Manna Market is a faith based food recovery program. We collaborate with Second Harvest, Substance Church, The FarmLink Project, local stores and other partners to collect and distribute good quality food that would otherwise be destroyed. Our mission is to be good stewards of the abundance God blesses this country with, to strive for community building through the distribution of recovered food, and to provide opportunities for people to grow in the Christian faith.

💡 Here’s the incredible part: Every $1 donated rescues 22 lbs of food!

That means:
🍎 $10 = 220 pounds of food saved
🍞 $50 = 1,100 pounds of food rescued
🥦 $100 = an entire ton of food!

In 2024, thanks to generous supporters like you and with matching funds, we raised almost $19,000 which allowed us to rescue 380,000 lbs of food! This year, we’re setting our sights even higher:

💵 Why money over food donations? While we gladly accept food, monetary donations stretch further. It only costs about 5 cents per pound for us to rescue food—meaning a $50 donation can provide over 1,100 lbs of food to families that need the extra helping hand!
