Sponsor Marge the yak

Marge the yak is an unhandled girl who is learning to trust humans. She was alone for almost 2 years. She was at a farm where her yak friend died suddenly. She was in a state of depression for some time because yaks are herd animals and need the companionship of other animals. She arrived to B&B sanctuary and it was clear that the mini herd was not a good fit for her and was not going to be enough to cure her loneliness. We realized she needed to be with her own kind. She was always on edge, irritable and anxious. Then the search began for a friend for Marge and we found Maxime the cow, who was also alone at a NH rescue. In Fall 2023, these two met and it's been magic! Marge is now very relaxed since having Maxime as a friend. We have never seen Marge be so happy!

Marge does not allow humans to touch her and she has never had vet care of any kind. Therefore she requires alot to make her forever environment suitable to her needs. By sponsoring Marge, you would be helping us meet Marge's mental, physical and environmental needs. All of these are needed to help Marge live her best life!
