"Mariposa Against Sexual Violence" is a campaign geared towards community members within Mariposa County. Sexual Assault, Rape, Child Sexual Abuse, and other sexual violence's is prevailing in Mariposa. Unfortunately, Mariposa is affected by this very heinous and unforgivable crime. Every year, Mountain Crisis Services continues to assist community members who are affected by this crime with services related to sexual violence. We want to continue to hold safe spaces where sexual assault survivors feel safe to come forward and talk about their experience without fear of re-victimization or judgement. 

Within our agency, we are able to assist sexual assault survivors with legal support, peer counseling, crisis response, and emergency safe house services that are funded through federal and state grants. Help us continue to provide support to all survivors/victims of sexual assault by donating back to our agency during sexual assault awareness month. All proceeds from "Mariposa Against Sexual Violence" Campaign will go back to further assist our sexual assault survivors who utilize our services and be able to provide more than what our grants fund us. Examples of funding to survivors include but not limited to monetary support, car seats, food, clothing, home furnishings, child needs, and much more. Any amount makes a difference.
