Over 65,000 legally resettled refugees now call Utah home. Utah Refugee Connection plays a vital role in filling gaps in services that support these individuals as they adjust to life in a new country. URC’s mission is to help refugees feel safe, seen, supported and ultimately successful along the Wasatch Front.

Some of URC’s impactful programs include:

Self-Reliance Incentives: Supporting refugees in learning English and acquiring job skills.
Maternal and Child Health: Providing essential items like car seats and connecting mothers to healthcare and early intervention resources.
Youth Empowerment: Connecting refugee teens to programs that support their social and educational development.

The URC team is passionate, dedicated, and focused on creating a safe and successful environment for every refugee they serve.
