Following a successful Infant-Toddler Residency in Hanoi, Vietnam, Mary Ellen was in exploring the Hanoi Old Quarter before her scheduled departure to Cambodia. Unfortunately, her journey took a tragic turn when she was involved in a severe accident. Currently, Mary Ellen is undergoing treatment at the Hanoi French Hospital, where her condition remains serious. Her daughters, Lydia and Lenore, are on their way to be by her side and are expected to arrive in Hanoi on Monday morning (October 9).

We are deeply grateful to our valued partners at SOL International Montessori Training Center, who have been unwavering in their support, both emotionally and financially. They are standing with us, ensuring Mary Ellen receives the best possible care and helping with the formidable burden of covering her medical expenses. We cannot thank them enough for their compassion and dedication.

As of now, we lack a definitive timeline for Mary Ellen's release from the hospital, and the path forward remains uncertain. However, what we do know for certain is that Mary Ellen has touched the lives of countless individuals across the globe with her tireless dedication and passion for education.

To assist Mary Ellen during this trying time, we are seeking donations to cover the emergency travel expenses for her daughters, Lenore and Lydia, and the inevitable medical bills that continue to accrue. Please rest assured that 100% of your contributions will go directly towards Mary Ellen's medical and travel expenses.
