I'm Monica Marrow, the proud CEO and founder of "What Makes You Feel Beautiful" – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that's been dedicated to empowering girls and women on Maui to nurture self-love since 2019.

In the wake of the recent Maui fires, our focus has pivoted to assist those most vulnerable during such times, especially women and children. Yesterday, our team was in Lahaina, starting our day at 5 AM and wrapping up by 8:30 PM. We had the privilege of helping numerous families. But with that, we also became the sounding board for heart-wrenching stories of loss, with some still searching for their loved ones.
