My family is  honored to be a part of the Animals Healing People Annual Campaign.  As boarders at Webb Ranch we get to witness first hand the incredible effort Jasper Ridge puts forth everyday to care for so many people and for the lovely animals that make their programs possible.  When my children were younger they volunteered with Jasper Ridge and helped to care for and socialize the animals in the program.  As volunteers they got to spend time in likely the most immaculate barn one will ever see and to experience up close the first class care given to all of the animals.  Their volunteer experience was among the most meaningful they've had as the tasks given to volunteers were educational and  impactful. More important, however, is the impact Jasper Ridge clearly has on the individuals served by their programs. When we see the veterans out on a trail ride or the young kids in the barn - we see something on their faces that seems in short supply these days - we see joy. That's an outcome we can't help but endorse.
