At CHHF, we take pride in the life-changing medical care we provide through our medical teams. But for some of our patients, the road to healing leads beyond our clinic doors.

When a child or adult faces a diagnosis that requires treatment beyond our scope, we refuse to say "we can't help." Instead, we turn to our Medical Referral Fund.

Why this fund exists

Some needs are too complex for a general clinic to handle alone. Whether it’s a child like Jose who has been receiving CHHF support since 2023 for cerebral palsy and a clubfoot—or a patient requiring emergency heart surgery, these "referral cases" share two things in common: they are medically urgent and they are prohibitively expensive.
