World Water Day 2024 💦🌍💦
In Africa, women and children spend countless, dangerous hours in search of water every day, often walking from morning to night in this quest. Water sources they reach are contaminated with a myriad of diseases and children are the most vulnerable as their immune systems are often too weak to fight these diseases. The statistics are heartbreaking but at Water 4 Mercy we are making a difference!
Water 4 Mercy is a non-profit organization working tirelessly to eradicate thirst, hunger & poverty in Africa by providing clean, safe drinking water to remote villages. To date, over 67,000 people in 21 communities now have clean water to drink PERMANENTLY for generations to come!
Benefits lifesaving water has given these villagers:

Illness & death from contaminated water sources has been eliminated creating vibrant communities.

Diverse crops can now be grown, reversing malnutrition & restoring health - they now "eat the rainbow"!

Children can expand their minds by attending school and pursuing higher education. (see Deborah's story below)

Families can build safe homes with bricks made using water.

New commerce through agricultural opportunities has led to economic independence, and ultimately, human dignity.
At Water 4 Mercy, every day is a Water Day but in recognition of World Water Day on March 22nd, we are asking for your support through this campaign! Without our generous donors, our mission would not be possible and there is much to still be done! No donation amount is too small or too large and 100% of donations received go directly to ongoing and new projects in Africa. This is made possible by a generous donor who covers all of our overhead expenses.
