Can you image a life where you could not express your thoughts and emotions? Where everything inside you was locked in a vault?
Every day throughout Michigan thousands of special education students struggle to express their thoughts, feelings and emotions due to cognitive impairments or physical disability. Help Michigan Arts Access provide special education students with adaptive arts instruction that allow these children to express themselves without barriers. Through visual arts, music, or dance our trained artists give children the opportunity to create, and the power and encouragement to unlock healthy communication through creative expression.
