Hallie Thompson is in her second year serving as the Director of Choral Activities at Ross Local School District, where she directs the 6-12th grade curricular choirs in addition to the extracurricular show choirs, Next Generation and Legacy, at the Middle School and High
School. Hallie graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Wright State University in 2023. When she is not at school, she serves as one of the resident vocal directors for Rise Up Performing Arts, which she has done since their inception in 2019. Through every opportunity Hallie is given, she hopes to inspire the youth around her to lead their lives with “love and kindness” for those around them. She believes that the future lies in creating strong leaders of character and hopes every student leaves her classroom carrying a song in their heart. She would like to thank Purple Monkey Project for allowing her the opportunity to participate today in honor of Reagan and for supporting her programs at Ross. She would also
like to thank her family for always supporting her aspirations and endeavors, wherever they lead.
