Wildlife rehabilitators are not funded by any entity like most people would assume. Since we receive animals from Animal Control Officers, Game Wardens, etc which are paid personnel by the City or State, most people think we must be paid as well.

That is a sad misunderstanding.

We are permitted by our perspective States to be ABLE to help wildlife and we are required to abide by their rules and perimeters but receive NO FUNDING from them at all.

We rely on kind citizens and compassionate donors like yourself to help provide the funding needed to support us in helping helping wildlife.

Specialty formulas for orphaned animals, veterinary expenses for those injured, hit by car, attacked by cats and dogs, all cost us money.
