When you invest in the life of a child through I Would Rather Be Reading, you’re helping provide safe after-school spaces, trusted adult mentors, literacy tutoring, and enrichment experiences that build confidence far beyond the classroom. Your investment creates stability. It creates belonging. And it opens doors that many children wouldn’t otherwise have access to.

This quarterly Mission & Mingle is intentionally designed to be personal. With a limited number of guests, the evening creates space to connect, ask questions, and see how individual investment directly impacts a child’s day-to-day life.

6:20 – 7:15 p.m.
Networking, conversation, and time to mingle.

7:15 p.m.
Impact Investor Story shared by Darin Epperly and Kathy Dreyer, followed by how to get involved with Ashley Dearinger.

7:45 – 8:00 p.m.
Questions and continued networking.

This evening is about understanding what’s possible when someone chooses to invest in a child’s future and seeing how that choice can change a life.
