Mitembo borders a large refugee camp and displaced children attend this school with the local community children. There are currently 769 students enrolled and they sit at an 88% attendance rate. It is expected that hundreds more students will enroll as soon as these classrooms are completed. The current classroom structures have all been built by community members who saw a need and did the best they could to fill it. But Coafrica is here to step in and make this a safe and durable school, providing education to this entire community and the children in the nearby camp.
