Mohammed studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Egypt and hopes to be a cardiovascular surgeon. He is separated from his family, which consists of 6 members, who are suffering from continuous displacement: his brother Nader (27), he has two sisters : Shiraz (25) & Nadeen (23), and his parents: Walid (56) & Eman (55). Nader is a computer engineer, Shiraz is a physical therapist, and Nadeen is a communications engineer. But their dreams are on a complete pause now, as survival becomes harder by the day. His parents suffer from heart and arterial diseases. In times of displacement and starvation, their health suffers more and more. ‏His whole family is now trying to leave Gaza. They are being subjected to constant violence and terror, and are now facing starvation. Like other Gazans they have struggled for many months to access clean water, food and shelter. Due to the inflation that comes with this scarcity, the cost for travel of per person to leave Gaza is currently $5000 (including all costs and transit coordination), they are setting the goal at $40,000 to allow to evacuate his family from Gaza, as well as be able to survive the starvation and shortage of food and water in Gaza.
