The United Leukodystrophy Foundation was incorporated in 1982 – meaning that the ULF has been a pillar for the leukodystrophy community for 40 years. Along with our founding families – Dr. Hugo Moser and Ann Moser founded the ULF to be a resource for families affected by leukodystrophies while the disease family was relatively new and lacking in research. Dr. Moser passed away in 2007, but Ann has continued to carry the torch for developing innovative treatment strategies, improved diagnosis practices, and championing efforts in Newborn Screening.
On Friday, June 24th, at the ULF Family Conference, we will host a Tribute Gala to honor Ann and her amazing legacy. This fundraising event will not only celebrate Ann, but will ensure that her work is funded well into the future to the benefit of all families affected by leukodystrophy. We invite you to join us for a special night in remembering the past 40 years of ULF’s history, and looking forward to decades to come.
