Motorcycle Accident

Renac and Rosales were heading home from Cap Haitien on Renac’s motorcycle when a large bull suddenly ran into the road in front of them. They collided with it, leaving both men seriously injured. Renac broke his right arm, and Rosales was knocked unconscious for nearly an hour. Both have many cuts and stitches, and the motorcycle was destroyed in the accident.

Renac is the head elder of his church and carries much of the responsibility for running it, since the pastor oversees 12 other churches in the district. He also runs his own school, serving as both principal and teacher. Renac is deeply respected in his community and faithfully serves the Lord with his whole heart.

In addition to caring for their four children, Renac and his wife are fostering five more. Because Haiti’s economy is so difficult, many children at his school cannot afford to pay tuition. To help keep the school running and allow those children to attend, Renac does not take a salary.

Now, with medical bills from the accident and the loss of his only motorcycle, the burden on his family is even greater. The motorcycle was essential for him to travel between his home, the school, the church, and Cap Haitien (1–1.5 hours away) for the many church and education meetings he must attend.

Would you consider helping Renac during this difficult time? Your donation will go toward covering his medical expenses and helping him replace the motorcycle he depends on to serve his community.

Any gift, large or small, will make a meaningful difference.
