For 49 years, Mr. J has been a cornerstone of Saint Raphael Catholic School, shaping the lives of countless students with his unwavering dedication, faith, and love for teaching. As we celebrate his 50th year, we invite you to join us in honoring his incredible legacy by helping us raise funds to renovate and dedicate our gym floor in his name.

Mr. J’s commitment to this school is nothing short of remarkable. In nearly five decades, he has taken only 5 sick days and 3 personal days, a testament to his love for his students and passion for education. Last year, Mr. J suffered a stroke early in the school year, but through God’s grace and his strong spirit, he has made an incredible recovery. We are blessed to have him back on campus, now serving as the chaplain for our students, guiding them in faith and spirit.

Mr. J has always known he was called to be a teacher, and Saint Raphael is where he has lived out his dream. His favorite saints—Mother Teresa, Saint Ignatius, Blessed Carlo Acutis, Saint Pope John Paul II, and Saint Francis of Assisi—reflect the values he embodies: love, humility, wisdom, and service. To Mr. J, his students are more than just children—they are “his kids,” and he has spent the last 49 years helping them grow in faith, knowledge, and love.
