If you have visited Broadway, New York, you know that it is a unique place – and we're going to create that at CKA for this evening. Whether you have or haven’t been there, this evening is an opportunity to sample BEST of BROADWAY sounds -- and tastes -- right here in Vancouver.

Come for a smorgasbord of Jewish deli-classics from Katz’s Delicatessen. Katz's is the oldest deli in New York; it is famous for its "mile-high" sandwiches. Katz's is also famous for its appearance in "When Harry Met Sally," which premiered more than 33 years ago. Accompanying the deli spread will be themed drinks (both hard and soft), appetizers, and a dinner finale of New York cheesecake. After a compelling program led by M.C. Deni Herrmann, theatre professionals Jason Glick, Beth Sobo-Turk and Rick Lewis will perform in person a full hour of Broadway musical favorites.

The evening is a fundraiser for Congregation Kol Ami’s General Fund. Although not glamorous like New York at nighttime, it is imperative each year that we supplement income from memberships with additional revenue to balance our annual budget. We’ll do that with a brief cash appeal.
