Mwana Villages has taught me about reunification, adoption and caring for the vulnerable in a way I never thought I could.
I absolutely love the mission of Mwana and wanted to start advocating for it. Not just for the Republic of Congo but for the world. Here in America, we tend to have an idea that adoption is the only way to help orphaned or foster children. Although many of these babies and children start off their lives in a broken home, that doesn’t mean we cannot help the process of healing and unification within that family. Giving resources to the parents to help them in any situation they are in like addiction, poverty and trauma. Mwana takes not only takes in and care for these children but they also give aid to the parents in need.
