On December 6th 2022 a tiny puppy was found at a Target store parking lot in Sacramento CA. Thankfully he was taken to the Front Street Animal Shelter where he could receive care.

Mr Pickles was evaluated and found to have hydrocephalus (fluid on the brain). His right eye is blind and the nerves paralyzed so that eye does not blink. His left eye does not fully close so he requires eye lubricating drops every few hours. He is also lacking bone at the back of his skull.

The hydrocephaly causes Pickles to have exaggerated movements, including popping up like popcorn.

Mr Pickles was pictured on the Front Street Animal Shelter social media page, where we first saw him. I waited a few days thinking of tiny Pickles each day so I decided to reach out. From there we developed an awesome working relationship with the shelter and Mr Pickles was transferred into our care 💚 Yesterday (January 6th 2023) we made the trip from Lovelock Nevada to Sacramento CA to pick up this spicy little Pickle of a pup.
