For over a decade, Rebel Thriver has been a sanctuary of hope, offering a private online community—the Village—where survivors can find connection, healing, and empowerment. But we know that healing requires more than a safe space. The journey to freedom is fraught with challenges, and the harsh reality is that many survivors return to their abusers simply because they have no other options.

Meet Laura:

Laura endured an abusive marriage for over a decade. Controlled in every aspect of her life, from her appearance to her decisions, she was isolated and trapped. With tremendous courage, she escaped with her four children and found safety in a domestic violence shelter.

From there, Laura rebuilt her life step by step—moving into an apartment, getting her children back in school, and finding a job. But one month, she couldn’t make ends meet. Facing the loss of her car, her job, and her independence, she turned to us for help. Without our support, Laura and her children might have been forced back into the cycle of abuse.

This is the reality for countless survivors: even after they escape, the financial and emotional tolls leave them on the brink of collapse. Rebel Thriver recognizes this, which is why My Sister’s Keeper was created—to ensure no woman faces these hurdles alone.

How We Help:

Our community fund serves as a vital safety net, providing survivors with the resources they need to maintain their independence and rebuild their lives. With your support, we can assist with:

Temporary Housing: Safe shelter for survivors and their children.
Cell Phone Payments: Ensuring survivors stay connected and can seek help when needed.
Transportation: Helping survivors access jobs, resources, and support.
Utility Payments: Keeping the lights on and ensuring access to essential services.
Childcare: Supporting survivors in balancing work and family responsibilities.
