This is a story of Afghan Christians---who they are and how they came to faith. Afghans from different backgrounds and places will share their journeys and experiences of coming to Christ in a series of interviews.

My name is Ali Ansari, and I am an Afghan Christian myself. I have spent the last few years working with other Afghan Christians who are refugees in many different countries. Drawing on my own experience and my photography and videography expertise, I aim to create a documentary that illustrates not only the struggles that Afghan Christians face, but also the unique gifts that they have to offer the world. The goal of this project is to 1.) encourage Afghan believers around the world, 2.) let other Afghans know that they can be friends with Christians and learn more about Christianity, and 3.) educate others about the Afghan Christian community. To that end, this project will be done in English with Farsi subtitles (or in Farsi with English subtitles in some interview portions). We hope that this project will also help organizations, churches, and NGOs working with Afghan Christians to better understand their experiences.
