Myrtle Spring Volunteer Fire Department was developed in 1963 for purposes of fire protection and response to citizens of the Myrtle Springs, Texas community.

Today, MSVFD serves approximately 3000 citizens and a 30 square mile area. MSVFD responds to calls for service within MSVFD’s area of responsibility and provides operational support to other neighboring emergency jurisdictions via "mutual aid" requests. MSVFD responds to local automobile accidents, structure fires, brush fires, emergency medical requests, mutual aid requests, search & rescue missions, severe weather events & other incidents affecting public safety.

It is our goal to secure funds to build a new fire station and to raise money to offset the overwhelming cost increases of fuel, personal protective equipment (PPE), grant match funding & equipment maintenance. Your donation will provide this much needed support!

As you know, MSVFD’s current fire station is dilapidated and will not provide the necessary protection of equipment or gear for much longer. Additionally, our equipment is aging and is no longer meeting adopted safety standards (NIOSH, OSHA, NFPA).
