2025 has been quite a year for the medical cases for Newnan-Coweta Humane Society!

Some very special cats in our care have had some extreme expenses and we need some help replenishing those funds to help the next furbabies in our care!

Missy: A sweet gray and white tuxedo who had to have a rear leg amputation due to an old injury before coming into NCHS care. There were some complications with the surgery but she is in recovery now and thriving without pain!
Shaboozey: A silver, sleek lad who suddenly started having seizures. After a few emergency visits to Auburn University Vet ER and tests/labs that had to be sent off, we had some unexpected fees that needed to be paid quickly! We're still on the hunt for what's causing these issues. He's very spoiled in his home!
Practical: A ginger gentleman who's experiencing a prolapsed rectum. He has been a fighter but surgery is in his future. NCHS does not have an estimate for this surgery yet! Practical is a determined one and we're going to fight for his chances!
Leaf: A uniquely white cat who now only has one ear. She was found in a car on the engine and the severe heat of the engine destroyed her ear. She doesn't let the lack of hearing slow her down. She is an active kitten that is a little unbalanced, but getting her balance regulated! But she's balanced herself into the hearts of NCHS fosters!
Ramone: A siamese stunner who has had a big shake up in his life! After his human mother passed suddenly, he came into NCHS care and will have to have his teeth extracted to alleviate the pain that is inflicting him. The pain doesn't stop him from being the sweetest boy ever!
Loki: The god of mischief kept his NCHS foster on her toes! The sudden, unknown reason for the loss of use of his back legs resulted in laser treatments, medicines, and lots of love. His leg use has been restored and he's almost ready for his forever home!

There have been other kitties this year that have needed some major medical funds but wanted to highlight a few. Newnan-Coweta Humane Society could not operate with the generosity and donations from the amazing community! We appreciate anything that can be used to help support NCHS and the cats in our care!
