Join World Class Academy's Climbing Academy as we fundraise for our scholarship fund and service learning project! A climbing, traveling boarding school - and accredited US high school - built on the principal that true education and learning comes from engaging with the world around us, WCA sees students as whole people, growing in academics, athletics, and character through exploring the world, engaging with communities, completing high school classes, and pursuing their sport.

We believe this is an incredibly unique experience for high school students. Through attending TCA, students have an opportunity to not only climb around the world while completing their high school education but more importantly an opportunity to learn about themselves, others, and the world around them through cultural immersion, sport, and academics. As a school, we hope to have the opportunity to be able to offer this experience to as many students as we can so that everyone who’s interested has the chance to attend.

We create these opportunities through scholarships and deeply value being able to support our students in this way. Therefore, we want to grow our scholarship funds in order to support more students, current and future. And that's where we are calling on our community - parents, families, friends, alumni, and more - to help us. Help us support current and future students through our fundraiser, creating scholarships so more students have the opportunity to attend TCA, a life-changing and rewarding high school experience.

This year, our fall fundraiser is a Halloween Climb-a-thon. Last year, students climbed their hearts out in 1 day, with some climbing over 2000 ft individually! This year, resplendent in spooky Halloween costumes, students will pair up and have 1 climbing day to climb as many vertical feet as possible, seeing if they too can reach over 2000 ft like some their predecessors.

Please join us in supporting the students as they endeavor to climb as many vertical feet as possible on Halloween, building endurance for the rest of the quarter along the way. You can donate a set amount here through our Givebutter page, supporting a TCA student on their journey. You can also make a pledge to donate based on the number of feet a student climbs (i.e. $5 for every 50 ft) and then donate at the end, after seeing how close they get.

Thank you for supporting our students as they master the rocks, scaling all the hurdles set in front of them. As well, thank you for supporting our school as we fundraise for student scholarships and the experiences we offer our students.
