The Issue: Too many Detroit kids are heading back to school without basic necessities, including a decent pair of shoes. For some families, the rising cost of living makes it hard to keep up. No child should feel ashamed, overlooked, or unsupported simply because of their shoes.

🎯 Our Goal: We’re collecting 100+ brand-new pairs of athletic shoes (PreK–12th grade) AND raising funds to cover what we can’t collect. Every dollar donated will go directly toward purchasing shoes for kids in need.

🎉 The Event: On August 23rd, we’re hosting our annual Step Up for Success: Back-to-School Rally & Shoe Giveaway at Faith Gardens Community Center (Detroit's East Side, 48224). We’ll have music, food, games, and most importantly - FREE SHOES for families who pre-registered.
