Stand for Equity: Protect Diverse Leadership

Nehemiah delivers programs that expand diverse community leadership so that communities are led by the diversity they embody. 

For over a decade, NELP has worked to open doors that were once closed to talented, capable leaders simply because of their race, gender, or background. We have built a pipeline of 250+ diverse professionals in this region who are now CEOs, investors, policymakers, nonprofit executives, and corporate leaders—people who reflect the communities they serve and who have helped reshape the institutions they lead. Executive Order 11246 issued by President Trump threatens to reverse that progress, to make leadership once again the privilege of the few rather than the responsibility of the many.  

Our graduates have changed the face of decision-making in this region, ensuring that boardrooms, government agencies, and civic institutions reflect the diversity of the communities they serve. That progress is now under attack, and we must fight to protect it.
