Northeast Youth and Family Services (NEYFS) is a family resource center committed to empowering generations by providing access and support to children and their families in Northeast Spokane.
To better connect children, youth, and families to resources in the community we:
-Identify all of the resources available for children, youth, and families in Northeast Spokane.
-Collaborate with organizations and families to identify potential and existing barriers to accessing those services.
-Facilitate programs to help eliminate those barriers.
Some of the programs / services we offer are:
Community Clothing & Hygiene Closet, Food Pantry, Multicultural events, Tech Lab (Podcast Studio, Video Studio, Computer Lab), Mindfulness Program, Financial Literacy Classes, Speech, Occupational, & Physical Therapy, Consultation services for ECEAP & EHS, School Age: Before & After School, Mentorship, Application & Tutoring Support, Resource Network
By bringing education, social justice and empowerment to the region, NEYFS strives to reduce barriers for family units. NEYFS operates through a racial equity lens and a “by the community, for the community” approach.
Families will gain skills essential to raising healthy children while developing and maintaining their own physical, mental, and social health through access to various programs, empowering them to thrive and connect with their community.
We believe in a holistic approach to wellness with our children and their families, and our focus is on upstream improvements. In order to provide our children and families with the best service possible we make sure to consider mental, emotional, physical, and environmental factors when treating our patients. Each person is a unique treasure and NE Youth and Family Services does our best to cultivate the potential in each person we see.
