2026 Annual Campaign
In 2026, Neighborhood Food Solutions is seeking donations to help with large-ticket expenses that are vital to the day-to-day operations of our training programs. While we are able to obtain small grants to assist with payroll and general programming expenses, there are 3 areas that are not covered by grants currently or difficult to be reimbursed for at a later time:
Administrative costs include accounting needs, insurance policies and other professional services ($5,000)
Repairing our skid steer ($5,000-$10,000). We use this machinery for:
Mixing compost materials
Creating raised beds
Training beginning farmers
Repairing our tractors+implements ($5,000-$10,000), used for:
Tilling new and existing plots of land
Transplanting seedlings for expanded vegetable production
Trials of grain production (wheat, rye, barley, kernza, corn)
Training beginning farmers
