THE NUEVA GENERACION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: 
The Nueva Generación Scholarship Program offers financial support to students from farm-working families who are pursuing a higher education. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting farmworker families and communities throughout California by offering essential support services. CFF has awarded over $350,000 in scholarships to more than 200 recipients statewide, many of whom are first-generation college students pursuing the dream to be first in their families to receive a college degree. ABOUT CFF:
Our journey began in Delano, California, where a dedicated group of Central Valley leaders envisioned a non-profit that would not only support farmworkers but also empower them to influence their own communities. In late 2016, this vision became a reality with the establishment of the Central Valley Farmworker Foundation (CVFF). By 2019, recognizing the broader needs of farmworkers beyond the Central Valley, the organization evolved into the California Farmworker Foundation (CFF). Today, CFF is a respected 501(c)(3) non-profit renowned for its innovative programs and services across California.

CFF was founded to address critical issues such as housing crises, food insecurity, and healthcare, providing tangible solutions for these community-wide challenges. Our mission is rooted in empowering farmworkers to become leaders and advocates for themselves and their communities. We proudly offer all our programs and services free of charge to farmworkers and their communities. Our ongoing commitment is reflected in our data-driven initiatives, which are crafted by farmworkers for farmworkers, with a strong emphasis on promoting health, education and civil assistance. CFF has served more than 90,000 farmworkers across the state, and operates in six counties; Kern, Tulare, Fresno, Madera, Santa Barbara, and Riverside.
