Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

Thank you so much for registering your child(ren) for NHES' Cool to Care Camp. We are so excited to have your child(ren) attend to make new friends and hang out with old ones. Throughout the week, your child(ren) will participate in cooperative activities, learn about ways to create a kinder world for animals, and meet some adoptable companion animals rescued by NHES' animal care facility, the Briggs Animal Adoption Center.

Reminders:

Drop-off/Pick-up: Our camp is held in the Education Building (at the upper parking lot near our life-size rhino statue) on the NHES Campus located at 3731 Berryville Pike in Charles Town, WV 25414.
- Pet Pals--Arrive between 8:50 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and pick up by 2:00 p.m.
- Humane Heroes & Animal Advocates--Arrive between 8:50 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and pick up by 3:00 p.m.

What to Bring: Please remember to bring a water bottle, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and an extra change of clothing on days when we will be having water activities.
Photos/Videos: We take pictures throughout the week to journal your child’s(ren’s) experience at camp. We use these pictures for our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Behavior: We want everyone at camp to have a wonderful experience. If your child(ren) is(are) having trouble being kind or following directions, the humane educators will provide opportunities for your child(ren) to correct the behavior. If the unwanted behavior persists and it becomes unsafe for other campers or animals, the humane educators will contact you to pick up your child.
