Our fall fundraiser: A Farm to Table Experience is aimed at supporting nature-based experiential learning opportunities for youth in our community. This event will be an unforgettable experience with a gourmet farm-to-table dinner, silent auction, and a meat raffle.

How Your Contribution Helps

Friends of Project Wild Rooted, 501(c)-3 nonprofit, is organizing our Farm to Table Fall Fundraiser and all proceeds will support our programs. Our goals include funding community outreach efforts to keep field trip costs low, providing school visit opportunities, and equipping teachers with outdoor learning resources. We also aim to raise money for scholarships to ensure equitable access to our programs and to fund outdoor equipment for each campus, allowing for year-round nature-based learning. Your participation helps us nurture and empower the next generation of nature lovers and innovators. Thank you for supporting our mission and contributing to a sustainable future.

Event Details:

Welcome Reception:

Time: 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Description: Guests will be greeted with a welcome drink and hors d'oeuvres featuring seasonal produce from local farmers. Guests will also learn about sustainable farming practices, and the importance of local agriculture.

Dinner:

Time: 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Description: The highlight of the evening, our farm-to-table dinner will be a culinary celebration of the season's bounty. Prepared by Merchant's Cafe's chef, the multi-course meal will feature fresh, organic ingredients sourced directly from the Summer Kitchen Cooperative.

Silent Auction and Meat Raffle:

Time: 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Description: Throughout the evening, guests can bid on a variety of items donated by local businesses and artisans, with all proceeds going to support our nature-based youth programs within Project Wild Rooted. A meat raffle will also be stocked with local meat cuts.

Closing Remarks:

Time: 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Description: A brief presentation will highlight the impact of our programs and how the funds raised will be utilized to benefit the youth in our community. Our silent auction will be drawn to a close and winners will be announced.
