Addressing Food Insecurity in 2025
To provide a more dignified Client Choice small-market experience to our guests, we moved to the VFW in Jan'24. This location is in a food desert area of New London and provides much easier access for our guests. It has been a great social experience for both our guests and for our volunteers.
Through 2024, we served ~280 families/week. In total, we served 53,415 guests and 640,980 meals for 2024. We expect these numbers to continue and likely increase through 2025. Since we are all-volunteer, all donated funds will be used for food purchase, rent and infrastructure improvements.
