News Literate Community Initiative is to bring together organizations across Washoe County to promote news literacy.  Our goal is to give adults practical tips, tools, and strategies to recognize fact from fiction in today's news.  By helping people identify what is true, we hope to build a shared set of facts, encourage meaningful dialogue on important issues, and strengthen both our community and our democracy.
